What is the alternative or subtitute for the liquid restorer?

Ordinary Acetone for nail polish remover.
( Use clear or light green only, not other color acetone )

How do we do it?

You need:

Facemask, surgical mask or your t-shirt as mask.

syringe with needle use in ink refill ( big one )

Use IV Tube from dextrose or hose from aquarium air pump (Optional)
Cut into size that suit you.

Any kind of Tissue Paper

Bowl or canister of Water

surgical glove ( If you don't want to have ink on your hand ) (Optional)

Electric Fan for ventilation ( Optional )

Working Place:

Must be open air or with ventilation.
Use electric fan.

work table that is near electric plug.

well lighted work place.

Repair:

Watch first the youtube.

Rule of all time: Unplug printer cord from electric outlet
( To avoid electricution)

Prepare the tissue under the printhead. To absorb the ink & acetone. Replace often when wet.
Upon your observation & common sense.
Do what is in the youtube procedure, but put first your facemask.
( To avoid dizziness and inhalation of acetone )

Technic:
Get water from bowl using syringe then release the water back to bowl.
Insert needle in syringe get 1cc of acetone then get air of 10cc or more for you syringe for air pressure. ( Depend on your calcuation & observation ) Put the IV hose (Optional)
Put direct syringe with or without hose in ink nozzle your need to hold it tight to push the syringe and ink nozzle to create air pressure. This will soften the dry ink inside the printhead and flush out the dry ink. Repeat this process until tissue paper receive light color acetone from printhead. Remove tissue when wet, acetone is easy dry. To avoid dry ink again.
Repeat and test printing until desire printing quality.
Everytime you unclog printhead, please remove printer cord from electric plug.
Put back printer plug when testing the printer's print quality.

Remember: to change water in the bowl every ink nozzle color change water to avoid contamination of printhead. Every acetone injection to print nozzle syringe must be water in & out to avoid plastic syringe corrosion & neutralize acetone.
Ink nozzle must be dry by tissue when putting back the ink catridge.
Do not worry if ink nozzle get wet by little acetone or water. As long all printer part is keep dry.
This repair do not guarantee print quality. But it will put back you printer into work again.
Do not throw anything you use. Just wash your syringe, needle, glove. Most printer ink is easy to remove by water or with little soap. Dry them and store for your next use.

Can be use with other printer brand or model as long the same feature with epson printhead.
